Firstfolio is pleased to announce the Firstfolio Self Managed Super Fund Specialist Unit.
The SMSF market is a specialist area which requires a strong level of experience in superannuation and lending to be able to provide exceptional service to clients.
We have set up this unit to give you the opportunity to continue building your current loan book, whilst at the same time having a professional resource who will help you grow your SMSF loan book without you having to commit resources or infrastructure.
This unit is being managed by Jenny New. Jenny's experience over the past 20 years in both lending and superannuation provides us with an exceptional level of experience in this market which has been consolidated over the past six months, working closely with Calliva on the launch of their SuperAccess product.
How will it work?
You can participate at two levels.
1. Referral Model
Under this model you simply refer a client or referrer to us as and when an enquiry is initiated by them.
We will contact the client/referrer and meet with them to determine their SMSF requirement and work with them to help them achieve their financial objectives.
We will submit the application and manage the process to settlement.
2. Business Development Model
Under this model we will meet with you to discuss your business and objectives.
Together we will identify possible SMSF opportunities.
We will then provide marketing material to communicate with potential clients and meet most with them where requested to discuss their objectives and provide a recommendation for the most appropriate loan structure and product for their needs.
Where you put us in contact with oneof your referrers, we will meet with them to assess teh possible opportunities in their business and work with them to provide their clients with a professional SMSF resource in line with your existing relationship with them.
What else do you need to know?
- We will always recognise that the client relationship is yours and will respect this when speaking with your clients and referrers. On an ongoing basis you will continue to manage the relationship knowing that we will be available for all your SMSF requirements.
- You can attend meetings wiht us or allow us to conduct the meetings ourselves to allow you to continue working on your existing business plan.
- Our specialists will at all times be professional and well trained in SMSF lending and therefore will always add value to the relationship you have with your client by demonstrating that you are providing them with the best of the best in finance.
- We only write SMSF loans so where a client requests a non SMSF loan, or if it appears that a SMSF loan won't be appropriate for a particular client we will pass the client back to you to deal with and provide a non SMSF loan to meet their needs.
How does the revenue split work?
You can choose from either of the following fee split structures:
Fee Type 1
You will be paid 100% of the trailer and the specialist will be paid 100% of the upfront.
Fee Type 2
The commission will be split 50/50 between you and the specialist on both upfront and trailer
