Firstfolio has achieved its success from the support of the communities in which we live and we’d like to give back.
Firstfolio supports the Uniting Care Burnside Foster Carers Programme.
The Burnside Foster Carers Programme is dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing environment for children who are unable to live with their own families. Many children and teenagers are in unstable family situations and need help. The programme places children in short term, long term, emergency and respite care for children aged from newborn to 18. Foster carers are selected and trained from any background or family situation.
At Christmas time each year, Firstfolio head office staff purchase gifts for over 40 children in foster care, which are then distributed to the children at their annual Xmas Party. Gifts tags are supplied from the Burnside team and each tag has the child’s first name, age, gender & a brief outline of what interests them on it. The staff then take the tags from the XMas tree and purchase the gifts. This activity has 100% participation and support from head office staff and has been in place as a joint venture for 4 years. There’s always quite a buzz around the office when Firstfolian staff are shopping for toys and gifts for the children!!

Firstfolio Dreams
The Firstfolio Dreams Grant is a company-sponsored charity program.
Firstfolio will sponsor staff members to pursue their charity dreams anywhere in the world for up to one month, all expenses paid for.
Our Firstfolio Dreams program provides our staff with the opportunity to contribute to the community either locally or international. Our Dreams program enables a staff member to work with their nominated Charity anywhere around the world for up to 1 month (fully funded).
Our 2011 participants will work with Cancer survivors in regional NSW; work on combating child labour in Romania and enhancing education in South Africa.
